In response to the recent resurgence of measles, we have begun offering measles antibody testing.
At our clinic, both IgG and IgM antibody tests are available.
・IgG Antibody Test:
This antibody remains in the body for a long time after infection or vaccination.
It is used to determine past infection or the presence of immunity from vaccination.
・IgM Antibody Test:
This antibody appears temporarily during the early stage of infection.
It can be used to determine whether a person is currently infected with measles.
